The National Children’s Day Celebration is organized every year by the Ehipassiko Buddhist Foundation (EBF) at the monastery with coordination from YDF, YDK, EBP, and the local communities. This special event is dedicated to promoting the rights, happiness, and well-being of children while raising awareness about their importance in society.
Last year, the celebration was made even more meaningful with the participation of interfaith youth leaders representing various religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Kirat, and Islam. Through cultural performances, interactive sessions, and group activities, the program fostered unity, mutual respect, and understanding among different faith groups.
The event not only brought joy to the children but also inspired the community to work together for peace, harmony, and the brighter future of all children.
