The Ehipassiko Pariyatti education program began in the year 2074 B.S. It is a form of moral education rooted in the teachings of Buddhism. The program is designed to instill ethical values, discipline, and spiritual understanding among young learners. Currently, more than 35 students are enrolled in the program. They attend classes every Saturday, dedicating their time to study moral and ethical principles based on Buddhist philosophy. The classes are conducted by a team of five dedicated teachers who guide the students with compassion and care. To support the students, the monastery provides free textbooks, stationery, and breakfast. This initiative ensures that education remains accessible to all, regardless of financial background, and encourages the students to continue their learning in a nurturing and supportive environment. Overall, the Pariyatti program plays a significant role in shaping the character of the students and promoting the values of peace, mindfulness, and compassion in the community.
